Reflection Blog 9

In the class Digital media production I learned more about the process of putting together videos using the software Adobe Premiere Pro than I previously detailed in my last blog post. I learned that you can import media using the media browser panel. Double clicking your video in the source monitor allows you to preview it. If you’re needing to import media files, select them and right click on them to choose import. Bins is a function that allows you to organize your clips the same way you can organize your files in folders on your computer. If you want to create a new bin simply click the new button in the project panel. Creating a sequence allows you to be creative in Premiere Pro. A sequence is just like the name suggests, a sequence of clips that play one after the other. You can create as many sequences as you want in the project panel along with your clips. To create a new one I learned that you simply have to drag one or more clips into the project panel, right click on your selection and choose New Sequence from Clip. You can always add more by dragging them into the timeline panel. To remove them I learned that you simply have to select it, press backspace and or delete.
